Superintendent Search
In October 2025, Superintendent John Evans announced his intention to retire at the end of November.
On Nov. 18, 2025, the Rockland Board of Education announced the appointment of Keith Lewis to serve as interim superintendent to lead the district through June 2026 and assist the board in the search for a new superintendent.
The search for the next Rockland Central School District superintendent is under way.
To assist the district in the search, the district asked members of the community to take a short, survey. The input will be compiled and shared with the district.
Additionally, application information for the position is available on the website of the New York State Leadership Group, which is assisting the district in the search.
